I STILL HAVE MY TOOTH!!! (Even if half of it is now white cement.) That's the good news. The bad news is that the rest of my mouth is apparently a mess and I have to go back to the dentist tomorrow. (Back on the good news front, though, I now have a local dentist and he appears to be very competent. This makes me feel better:)

I got lucky -- I was able to get to a dentist in time to avoid a root canal. Though, between the novicane and the fake half-tooth, my mouth feels really weird.

Sadly, with this I've basically tapped my entire supply of Eureka recs. Hopefully someone else will come up with more soon:)
