Yesterday I went down for an interview with the temp agency and I suppose it went ok. They said they would call me and let me know if they have any openings for me. So I could start temping soon.

I was actually an hour and a half early, due to planning on getting there early anyway and managing to catch a train at Tarrytown that left about 25

Yes, it's always good when someone gives you career advice without knowing what you're qualified to do. I was asked once if I was going to be an artist because of my Bachelor of Arts degree. My subjects were english and history and as an Arts degree is one of the most common in this country, it makes me wonder what that person was on to think Arts = painting.

More importantly, I love your icon! Damien Lewis is lovely. Ron Livingston isn't too bad either.

I know, it's so frustrating. Usually though, people know I have a sociology degree and then automatically tell me that I want to be a social worker. And then are shocked when I tell them that I don't want that at all.

Also: hee! I love this icon too. Damien and Ron are fantastic together in Band of Brothers (although the quote is from Arrested Development).
