I think AmeriCorps sounds like it would be a great experience, plus it could help you make connections to people in non-profits in NO that might lead to a permanent job. I hope your parents come around to the idea, if that's what you want to do.

Thanks! I keep telling my parents basically what you said, but they still don't like it. I don't know if they'll ever totally come around to the idea (many of my choices annoy them), but I figure I'm old enough that they'll just have to deal with it.

Even with this uncertainty, I can't wait to graduate.
