I wrote this the other day and performed it as the final poem in a set at Uni. It seemed to go down well.

medium is the message

it's true
we don't talk how they used to
we quick-riff half-sentences
throw out pop references
we're living in the future
be young near forever

baby boomers
pulling up the ladder
work while you're able

Morals? What are they?

I love this piece- it has an anger I've been trying to get back to in my own poetry (I had it when I wrote as a fifteen year old but seem to have lost it as life has become more comfortable).
