I've been listening to the advance copy of new Prids record "...until the world is beautiful." Incredible. The sound is so tight and... just incredible. Having seen them play so many times, these are already some of my favorite songs. They've done a very good job of putting that energy onto the CD. well, I've been hearing it for some time... but different burns and stuff, and mostly at Castle Sadmore. I dunno, it just feels more "official" now, so I'm posting about it. ;) The packaging looks great too!

The macbook looks sweet. The built-in iSight and Front Row are very attractive features, in addition to the added speed. Jess already had a 15" 1ghz powerbook I'd basically taken over, so just to keep things consistent (and to avoid the hassle of re-acquiring my pro software) I ordered this one refurbished from apple.com. It was a hard decision though... but I want to be able to use either of our laptops for shows and stuff, and this way everything will be absolutely compatible. I certainly couldn't afford to get two new intel based laptops.

I have to say though, this machine is pretty sweet. Significantly faster, brighter and sharper than the 1ghz model.
