Seriously, I'm a mom, and a woman of a certain age, I can't help but read from Ellen's point of view. And that was painful in this very well-written, very easy to read story. I just meant that it hurt.

There's certainly a lot of hope, but there's pain, too.

Oh, yes, I really like this! I can see this being a way to bring Ellen back into the plot of the show.
