I still crack up that Matisyahu's gotten so big. I went to see him back when he was just a friend of a friend. then he married a friend of dan's. it's all a little *bwahahaha* to me.

He's good friends with one of the Chabad rabbis down here (Chabad Intown, in the chic part of town), and I think he usually stays with them when he comes here. Which is often! BTW...there's a great picture of him performing "Roxanne" with Sting in Tel Aviv that you'll see if you click through to enter the matismusic.com site.
