Glee: The Ship Wars

I believe I have just made some enemies, or at least have put some people at ill-ease, because I ship both Klaine and Kurtofsky.

Admittedly, I don't like Dave/Kurt at all and can't see it nor ship it for the life of me but I have read a couple of stories where Dave was at least a civil being.
That's not to say that I'm going to go bash every single Kurt/Dave shipper because that would just be downright stupid of me.
People need to accept that not everyone has the same tastes, same ships, etc, as everyone else.
Like you, I do want to see Dave's character evolve because I think it would be positive for not only those that have been bullied by someone like Dave but for those people who maybe think they're like Dave.
People are... sticklers for the things they like and especially, as I've found, when it comes to their pairings.

See? I totally respect that you could not see Dave and Kurt in a romantic sense, and that you might have other ships that I don't particularly ship.
If anything, I would want to know why you shipped your ship, and have fun, open dicussions about it. You never know where you might pick up your next ship, after al! =D

=D I respect that other people ship them but they're not my cup of butterbeer and I'm not going to actively look for fic with them as a couple like I do with Kurt and Blaine.
Mostly, I ship Kurt/Happiness but since Never Been Kissed, Blaine has equalled happiness for Kurt, so I ship that. I know Blaine has had massive flaws but he's human, so that makes him beautiful to me. Still, I see the way Kurt has evolved as a person, from that bitchy persona and pure arrogance and superiority to this guy who has not only grown into himself but who has also bloomed into this amazing young man. He's faced struggles that not many people face in their every day lives but he's a better person because of it ( ... )

While I have discovered some pretty awesome crack ships in some fandoms just to ignore all the drama completely (and the idea of Karofsky/Jeremiah is growing to me, ngl), I still think it sucks. You can care about your own ship without constantly hating on other ones, thank you very much.
I'm someone who doesn't always have OTPs, and especially in Glee I ship about everyone with, basically, everyone (the show itself doesn't help much about that, either, lol), so why should Kurt be the only one with only one option? And honestly, both Klaine and Kurtofsky can be done horribly, I've seen fanfiction/fanart proof for that.
And I think a huge part of the Glee fandom that's hating on Karofsky and Kurtofsky so much is so hypocritical and blaming him for things half of the characters have done just because he's not the typically ~handsome guy, but that's turning into a slightly different rant, I guess.Anyway, you CAN love both, you're on the right track there ( ... )
