Sadly true. I think one of the most heartbreaking things about season VI is Buffy's inability to appreciate the way Spike feels about her while they're having sex. How lonely is must be to know how much he cares and to not want it...

Hated how he worshipped her, even as he degraded her.

Sad that Buffy on some level recognizes his feelings for her, yet still feels that he's doing something bad and wrong to her.

Yeah... although I don't think it's really what he's doing to her that's degrading. She hates that it's him that's doing it. Thanks for commenting!
