It's funny (not funny ha-ha, but funny hmm...) to see that your parents both pushed you in different ways. Your father was dissappointed that you didn't want to go into a field that you may not enjoy, which may have put you into his position. But your mother criticized you for your weight so that you wouldn't be like her. Kudos to you for being self-aware enough to realize that your parents' criticisms of you were most likely projections of their own dissapointments in themselves. Thanks for sharing. I eat this kind of stuff up. I majored in Pschology. Can you tell? :-P
As I mentioned in my previous post, I am not writing anything right now, Spuffy or otherwise. If I do write something, it'll be posted here, but as the spark seems to have gone out on my fanfic writing, I don't have anything in the works for the foreseeable future.
