Hmm. Could be a serious problem if Susan wants to write about this. And she will.

Buffy spun to face the snarling vamp. “I’m sorry, we were having a conversation.” She punched him in the face. “You’re interrupting.”

The vampire growled and punched her back.

Hee! I love it when Buffy does stuff like this!

Of course, it never got this sexy with Faith.

You do realise you're ruining all my dreams?

“In a cemetery? In the middle of the night?”

“We’re… um, creepy.”

Nice. Such a dumb excuse, but not a disputable one...

“He’s not my boyfriend,” Buffy blurted out. “Uh… that’s not the part of that sentence I should be focusing on, is it?”

I loved this line!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about ruining the B/F dreams, but that's a story for another fic...

This chapter was nice and light with the cooking and the dancing and the rampant sexual tension that is patrolling with Spike, and then you brought the hammer down. Buffy opening up to Susan, even just a little bit, to avoid thinking about her money problems has opened a flood gate.

I'm looking forward to how this plays out.

I figured we should keep it light, because it's about to get very tense. :) Thanks for commenting!
