Mad Men and Fic Update

Mad Men is not a show I typically think of as funny. I mean, it has its moments (many involving Roger Sterling), but lawnmower antics aside, most of the humor is pretty dry. Not really laugh-out-loud funny, you know?

But sometimes it just hits it dead-on.

( It helped that I was already sitting on the floor )

Ooh, yes, the last episode of MM was hilarious (or, at least, the humour was pretty stepped up for most of the 50 mins)! I kind of wish it would be like that all the time, because if there's one hang up I have about that show, it's that it can sometimes tend towards the dreary...

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if it were a bit funnier all the time. Especially this season, with Don being so pathetic and everyone else kind of miserable. It's rather depressing.

Hee. I also loved "No, the jockey smokes the cigarette!" from that scene, too.
