Eorl walks beside Felarof, still leading the reluctant stallion. The pair pause on top of a hill watching the troops heading west towards the Shire.

I'm sorry, Roffy, I guess humans are as stupid as horses.

Eorl unties the halter and gently turns the stallion loose.

I hope I'm doing the right thing.

*Felarof tenses as Eorl's hand comes up, but he stands long enough for the halter to be removed. The instant the rope is over his ears and off his nose, the stallion spins around and tears off, sending clods of dirt and grass flying.*
