At that Cas nods and swallows. “Alright, I’ll take you.”

Cas lies and Dean believes it anyway. Before Dean falls asleep Cas will flit away, and in the morning he and Sam won’t talk about what was or wasn’t heard in the guest room the night before. But for now, as Cas leans in to kiss Dean like it will be his last, the belief is enough for both of them.

Ouch :(

It's so sad that they're in this impossible situation, and that they feel they can't really be together. This is heartbreaking and lovely and smoking hot.

Your prose is lovely, and the way you write the characters is so very true, that this (and the previous fic in the verse) absolutely feel like they could be lost moments between the episodes. That's how true to the story they feel.

My favorite part was the little bit, where Cas tells Dean to skip the condoms. That little detail, Uuuuuuung *shudders* Such a nice flourish. Well done!
