Much hope for Thomas's surgery going well!! When my nephew had a health scare shortly after birth, they said "he seems like a healthy baby in all other ways!" too. So I think Thomas will pull through.

Semi-relatedly, if you're at the Merc again tonight I can demonstrate my patented "Ooooh, bayyyybeeee!" coo for ya. Just because I care. ;)

I did a YouTube video not too long ago that touched on this subject peripherally, and--much as I actually adore kids--I had a rather contemptuous manner of pronouncing "baby" that I got more than a few amused/complimentary comments on...
