Keith Olbermann is one of my heroes.

The problem is that a lot of the people he'd have to prosecute are people with whom he still has to play ball. Unfortunately, things are so unstable right now I suspect President Obama really can't afford to alienate the asshats. As my hubby pointed out, it's really hard to be a statesman while you're still in power.

...or maybe I'm wrong and Obama is just displaying typical liberal spinelessness.

He's got majorities in both houses of congress, he's got political leverage. He could stick it to 'em without a bump if he really wanted.
