Bad bad Anna not updating regularly instead

Things that have happened lately (since I've been lazy and haven't updated much):

Easter break: That was a while ago now. I didn't do any schoolwork at all during it, or even fret much over it, so it served its purpose (rest) well. I was kind of annoyed to go visit my grandparents the second half of the week though. My grandpa kept coming ( Read more... )

I, uh, don't believe you do say that, except in Scotland. But there should be an idiom for it, I just can't think of what it is... ... maybe I'll think of it eventually.

yes, please explain to me what that means... I'm confused... (I'm only part Scottish and Swedish, you know ^_^) (and English, and Welsh and Irish and Cherokee...)

Well, mickle is apaprently scottish for a lot. The sense of the idiom is that little things add up... the only one I can think of close though is "nickle and diming" someone. But that's kind of specific..

(The Swedish one translates, by the way, to Many small streams make a big river.)

I like the Swedish one better. It works better in my head and makes a ton more sense. Silly Scottish...
