You know, there's several blogs with GTD methods from end to end. I don't know which platform you tend to use primarily so I can't suggest any at the moment. I have noticed a lot of people prefer the textpad method though...so if that works.

Oh don't think I haven't tried all of those. Maybe I'm misunderstanding them, or just hate the tediousness of all of that writing when I know technology -could- solve that problem seamlessly.
And for the time being, we'll see if it has.
The main problem with all the systems I've read about or used is that they aren't good ubiquitous takers -and- easy to organise. The closest I've seen is the hipster notepad, and I find the idea of carrying and organising notecards insanely tedious when I could tag them right there and have them organised immediately.
I'm a paper planner kind of gal. Agreed, the planner push-back (aka "procrastination") can result in the re-writing of the same task several times, but I do enjoy it, and it works for me.
When I got to high school, my mom bought me a planner and I used it for about two weeks. It seemed redundant to write stuff down when I already had it in my head.
I still feel that way. Whenever I do need to write something down for later, I put it on a notecard. Maybe I need more stuff to do.
