D'espairsRay Concert in NY
Wee that was soo interesting. i learned I hate NY. Its so poluted and scarry. But David prooved he is 'The Man" and got us unlost while driving like a New Yorker. yes we were scared for our lives But he didnt hit a cone ^.^
Anyways. Got there Thursday around 3pm. Got parked got eh hotel room and sat aroudn leting it rain until 6pm.
We started walking down teh street and found McDonalds with an ATM so we stoped and ate. learned teh McDonalds in NY delivers o.o weird. Well another block and a half down from there was Club Avalon which use to be a catholic church ^.^ Was very pretty. Got insie and was todl that we are to watch teh first two bands then Harry would come get us in teh back next to teh Bar. I stood next to teh bar the whole time. Wasn't to impressed with Suicide City. But when he crawled over the banister then threw himself at the crowd was amusing. I'm surprised he lived through it.
Trashlight Vision was kick ASS as usual. They still didn't have a CD available to buy ;-; BUT i signed up for their mailing list. After they ended Harry Gathered us all up gave us a really fast Sum up of what was going to happen. To put it bluntly we got about 10 minutes at the Most with teh band, had to point out which was our favorite member (hard to do when they all rock), Ask 1 - 2 questions, Give Gifts, Get our gift, then go back down. We were on our own getting a good watching spot.-_- Ebay LIEd. Front center my ass. Soo anyways.
When we all got back there it was a shock but we found out we were the FIRST ever to See their New costume *-* White Rags. Sooo awsome looking. We each happily picked a different person and Tsukasa got picked twice. Hizumi seemed shocked someone wanted his icture. One of teh girls said No one picked him at the dinner the night before. Poor guy. he was hapier though when he got his picture taken. I chose Karyu ^.^ Just because he's soo tall and looks sooo cute. Plus I dun know. Had a feeling which turned out right. he put his arm around me. Nyaa i was sooo happy ^.^
After pictures we got our Present from them. Signed Drum Sticks. Was awsome. Then we asked questions. i have no clue what anyone else asked cause we were ontop of teh stage and you cant hear shit up there. But i asked if Karyu has moved onto Ghost Recon 2. he hasn't the loser. But he smiled and made a gun like gesture at me while I told him 2 was really awsome. Then at the end since we had time we got a group shot. ^.^ karyu leaned in to us. he's such a player.
Well that was teh end of backstage. Kinda a jip. BUT we went down eyes teh crowed and me and one of the other girls (I am bad with names) Linked arms and FOUGHt our way in. Only got to where Karyu was ^.^; thats it and we couldn't move our arms because everyone wanted closer. they played All my fav songs and then a new song. I think its the one Karyu talked about in Nov ^.^ it was different from their others but very beautiful. I am soo preordering the CD now. OOOH one more thig. Wardrbe Malfunctions! Karyus outfit was so falling apart. I think they all lost parts. On karyus leg (you see it in teh group shot) the big cover and black strips fell off. Hizumi lost things too. During us back there he lost his ring. Tsukasa at some point lost his sleeves. I think Zero is the only one who ended the same way he started. Wonder if they will change them around now. After that I went back to teh room with david and crashed. Just got home and hour ago and upoaded my pictures. Hope you enjoy.
I kinda wish I had done teh dinner or went to megacon. Oh well I will catch them every time they come to teh US. hey does anyone know if They have an addy to send fanmail to? o.o I dont remeber ever seeing one. I should really send them something since I've never remebered to make a gift when I meet them. Nyaa ok. Hope you all have fun at Megacon ^.^
