Riku is kind of ???. Issun doesn't really know what to think of him, though the impression certainly isn't a bad one! He thinks the cloak and blindfold and all black are really odd, and he's eventually going to break down and ask just what the heck is up with those things anyway, so sorry in advance. |D;; He's enjoying their talk about their "local dieties," though, and likes that he's found someone that is willing to speak frankly/bluntly about them. Issun has gotten some pretty surprised reactions from people when he referred to Ammy as "furball" or just, in general, told them she could be annoying.

He can only come up with "Darky" as a nickname right now, but he wants to think of something better.

Guess we'll just find out eventually. And hey, he doesn't mind--it's a common question he's being faced with lately. Comes with the cynical nature he has at this point, and almost every point after. Damn the emo derp. |D;;

Also, that nickname. It got him to chuckle just a tad and I will laugh when Issun realizes how similar he is to Oki. XD

Bad first impression aside, Issun caught the derp virus and considers Ven to be a good kid! He also thinks of Ven as the most normal person, personality-wise, he's met at Vatheon so far, even with the weird metal-tooth clothes. Issun is probably going to keep picking on him, too, because he has the best reactions. Sorry, Ven. xD

He has no idea what nickname he wants to give Ven, but I'm 76% certain it's going to be wind-related when he finally does figure something out.

Brisby! Brisbyyyyyy. Issun thinks she's pretty interesting. Mostly because, for a mouse, her life seems to have been pretty complicated! And also very sad. He wants to make her happy in that "kid wants to see his mom smile and say "good job!"" kind of way, and it tugs at his heartstrings that she's stuck in Vat, away from her family. Not that he'd ever admit it, of course. He's also mulling over the idea of offering to teach her how to paint.

It's unlikely that he'll make up a nickname for her, since she's a "missus" and he respects his elders. (Usually.) Brisby is probably going to be a wonderful influence on him and he'll hate every second of his growing maturitiy. xD

Minato makes Issun a little nervous, actually! He doesn't think anybody around that age should be that... calm, and it kind of freaks him out. He does like that Minato is friends with Ammy, though, so bonus friendship points there, rank 1 achieved, etc. He wants to know what Ammy was up to before he arrived, and Minato seems to be just the person to ask, so far.

He'll probably end up nicknaming him "Blue."
