PEER sounds quite interesting. unfortunately, as an environmental law enforcer, it is all too common for the public to not want to adhere to regulations just cuz they're cheap and dislike change :(

Yep, I've seen that happen myself.
It does look to me like PEER is a group doing some really good work, especially for those in political climates where their professional concerns are being stifled.
