Was one of the Giants pitchers doing his rehab start for Sacramento that night? That could explain the crowd.

Looks like a fun week, though.

Yeah, but that seems to be a pretty regular thing. I guess there was another Giant who was there just the series before this.

It was super fun!

Only one of the babies went anywhere in our particular race. The announcers had to call it.

I did have a great time!

Tahoe is pretty interesting, because it has all the resort area stuff, so it's got typical ski resorts and lake cruises and hikes and stuff, but then it's also one of the first "resort destination" type places in the world, so it's got history museums from the early 1900's and Gatsby-type stuff, but it's also got museums from the 1800's pioneering/gold rush days, as well, AND it's also got museums for the native Washoe tribes who lived there before that! It's more history than I'm used to in California, lol.

That seems like a really great trip and Emerald Bay looks gorgeous!

Also, I want to see baby races!

Emerald Bay was very nice! We had this one picnic area/grove all to ourselves, and we even saw a little finch fly into a nest in a knot at the base of a pine tree!

The baby race was not that exciting, lol. It was more the WTFery of it all!
