There's a scene in the latest episode of Teen Wolf between Stiles and his dad that I keep being forced to see on Tumblr no matter WHAT I blacklist, with everyone being like, "LOL, only good part of the episode!" and like, "Best scene ever!" and such, and... granted, I have only seen it via gifset, and it is cute, but, like all Sheriff Stilinski

That scene didn't bug me as much as the fact that the one parent/child interaction we got on Scott's side of the fence was with RAFE!

I don't care about Rafe.

Eh, I know a lot of people don't like Rafe, but a lot of people do, too.

But what they did with the character in S3 was one of the final nails in the coffin for me, when his story arc was mostly persecuting the Sheriff, and most of his scenes were with Stiles. Uggggh, like, how can you bring McCall back and NOT have him interact WITH THE McCALLS.

Wait, what scene? Oh, wait, nevermind I know. I do love Stiles and his dad's scenes together but I am with you as well. We hardly see Melissa but I guess that is because she doesn't really run into her son a lot with her job at the hospital or apparently at home either. I really like Melissa too. Not so much to the daddy McCall. I am still wondering how they all went to Mexico to take on a hunter cartel during a school week. The parenting on these shows slowly slacks til they have no parents around at all, lol.

Nah, they are finding a ton of excuses to write in the sheriff, Agent McCall, and Papa Argent in previous seasons. Hmmm, I wonder what they could possibly have in common vs. Melissa???? And also look at all the angst they had about Stiles telling his dad about the supernatural, and all the scenes they've had with him now that he does know, versus, you know, the shitty reveal of Melissa finding out Scott's a werewolf, and her complete avoidance of him afterward (so that she conveniently wouldn't be around to help Scott with his hard choices, even though that's not her canon parenting style at all).

Another reason they have no parenting is because they keep killing all the moms. Stiles' mom got fridged before the show even started! XD

I will never forget that Melissa Ponzio was only on The Walking Dead because she was pretty sure they were going to kill her off on TW. Meanwhile, Linden Ashby gets even more storylines.
