Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.

I think I tried it when I had 100+ icons, but that just didn't work out.

BUT you could ALSO have Babar/Blaine!

2 in the same fandom: Gus/Byrd are Psych, & Monroe/Retched Kat are Grimm. (Though I guess if I had *Karl Urban*/*Karl Urban*, that would provide the extra slot to give Wendy a partner. BUT THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES!)
