I didn't want to do H50 for this challenge, because almost every conceivable genre swap has already been done for H50... and then tailoredshirt posted again about how awesome Johnny D is...

Kono grinned, and her lips moved, but Danny couldn't hear her speaking.

Again.

Chin and Steve burst into laughter, and Kono followed.

Danny rubbed his forehead. It was going to be a long day.

I was waffling on what Steve's ability should be, then I realized that super hearing would be a PERFECT match for were-dolphins!

Um, this is amazing and I need more of all of it immediately. Johnny D, evidence lockers, super-hearing. Were-dolphins.

"This is amazing," Jenna said, circling around the table, unable to take her eyes off the object Johnny D had placed upon it. "Where'd you get it?"

"I'm not at liberty to say," Johnny replied, tilting his head and displaying his teeth.

Jenna put on her gloves -- thick black rubber, not the thin latex the other members of the team wore -- and plucked the item off the table.

"Hey, easy with the merchandise!" Johnny said, attempting a veneer of jocularity, but Jenna saw a flash of yellow in his eyes.

"I can assure you, I am taking every precaution not to taint the object with my own energy," Jenna shot back, and Johnny D lifted his hands in capitulation.

She lifted the item to examine it visually. It was a passport -- forged, obviously; it had been issued to a Brian Yu, but the photo was of someone Jenna was beginning to know rather well.

"Wo Fat," she said venemously.
