Just received an "interim confirmation" e-mail from Comic Con, which I guess is post-pre-registration, but still pre-registration thing, and then in October we will have to register for a membership which is basically pre-registration (at last!) for the con itself....

Theoretically, you should be able to buy tickets for this year... I mean, that's why they're doing all these weird shenanigans with the tickets, so that they'll still have some to sell this year.
