You know, I've never thought of using remixes on my vids. Hmmmm...
See, my problem with Dollhouse was how skeeved out it made me the minute it was shown that she was basically a personality residue. That just icked me out and threw me out every time. Otherwise, I'd have been watching for Alexis's hot, hot self once that came out. And the fact Joss recycles casts like Peg Bundy reuses Tang.
People have such strong personal associations with songs, I like using remixes for vids & covers for fanmixes more than I like using the originals, so that (hopefully) people can kind of set aside "oh, i've always associated Song X with this" and be like, "yeah, Song X really works for this character!"
I know; you're not the only one who feels that way, & I totally understand it. And I kind of think that's why you might like these 2 episodes. Those kinds of issues are addressed outright.
I had actually forgotten that was part of the lyrics until I started trying to find the version of the song I wanted to use. I mean, all of the lyrics are actually so appropriate! Feeling "unknown" and being made into something? Would-you-like-a-treatment much? And, Jesus! so much torture & self-sacrifice in the Faith-Wes storylines!

You should consider watching episodes 2.05 & 2.06. They're pretty self-contained, and about half of them is Alexis & Eliza on screen together.
