So, I read Volumes 1 & 2 (which is actually 48 issues) of Runaways yesterday. mizzmarvel gets an A+ and a gold star because Chase is sooooo Chris Lowell. I mostly like everything about it, except that I hate Nico, whom I want to give a Molly-sized punch in the face.

I accidentally made my dad get a Twitter account. Apparently, he is highly suggestible at 4

Chase is my fave forever. Also, Nico is an incredible tool. She went from boring to horrible really quickly.

Heee. At first I was like, 'really? what's so awesome about chase?' and then I was like, 'oh!' The comic has one of my classic pet peeves though, in that everyone is always making wisecracks about Chase being dumb, yet he's the one who's always figuring things out -- he clearly takes after his parents in that. Meanwhile, Nico's idea of leadership is to threaten everyone with her (unearned & undeserved) magic powers if they don't do as she says. ::sigh sigh::

I liked Gert, but she never really got to do anything, which is sad. I wasn't fond of Karolina, either, but she got much better after she went off on her mission to find her true self & whatever, blah blah. Molly is super-adorableness, & should beat up Wolverine some more.
