So I did not sign up for fandom_stocking, but thanks to goddess_loki pimping it out, I ended up writing 11 teeny ficlets (between 300-500 words) for it. O__o Mostly crossovers, of course, 'cause that's how I roll. Anyway, the first six:

These were delightful, especially the spectacle of Jo faced with a woman even tougher and more elite than she is and Dawn's understandably less-than-successful attempts to explain the story of her life.

The idea of a Jo & Faith crossover keeps crossing and re-crossing my mind. They're both so competitive and have such chips on their shoulders, and they're both kick-ass. Jo has this need to prove herself as being not just "as good as" any male soldier, but as being better than they. And Faith, of course, has that constant comparison of General Buffy looming over her.

I have a soft spot for Dawnie, & it makes me sad that she doesn't get much love in the fandom. I think she turned out pretty great, considering the circumstances.
