I'd like to point out that we have the Munich desaster on the minus side, but also two incredibly wonderful football world cups (1996 and 2011) on our plus side. :-)))
But taking Olympics away because of these riots? No. Don't let them win. It's not like the Olympics are next week or something. That's just ridiculous.

I only mentioned the 1972 Games, btw, because the politician was all 'Oh, if you can't stop this from happening, how are you going to secure the Games? Oh noes!' and it really pissed me off because there is a parallel there, albeit a tragically sad one.
You know, I'd be all for some other country hosting the Olympics...as long as they give us the money we've spent! It's a kind of ridiculous amount, given that they only run for two weeks. I will stand by my country's right to host them, though.
In conclusion;
Germany = awesome.
Britain = mostly awesome-except-for-a-little-bit-right-now.
Illiterate morons = blergh.
Your politician-what's-his-face = WTF*ckery-no-seriously-what.
