I am seriously kind of heartbroken right now. I wish Darwin could show back up in the sequel, I never knew I wanted that until I read this. It's just such lovely writing and story and imagery and I just want to cry or something. Alex is alone and heartbroken and it makes me sad that Darwin's gone now. Gosh, this is really good.

I absolutely love this! The details of Darwin's resurrection and his insight into Alex is lovely. My friend and I went to see the movie and when Darwin stroked his hand across Alex's stomach we turned to each other and said, "Pairing!"
