Yay. I can't afford getting the pool fixed (it needs EVERYTHING) but at least now I have a pool robot. Plugs into house current and basically it's an underwater Roomba.

It's getting clogged up a lot because, you know... build up. I have named him SCUM-E. :^)

So far, so good! It has a two hour cleaning cycle, which should cover the whole pool, but it's got to clean up a lot, so I've washed it out and set it to run again... and again... after it finishes the third cycle, I'll let it rest until tomorrow. :^)

A bit late here, but hello from far away... SCUM-E seems an excellent name, I'm sure he's proud of it.

I just found this comment in my junk mail! SCUM-E works hard. I alternate right now, one day of pool chemical, one day of SCUM-E running around. Pool is cloudy because I can't filter out the chemical's inert binder, but it's clean, no bugs or algae.
