My dad's in town for the next eight days. While it's great to have an excuse to go hiking a lot, it means that I now have a far less appealing reason for not getting work done than I have had.

But today we saw some neat stuff -- incidentally, about a quarter-mile from where the picture in my icon was taken.

Probably not, since he was putting up with me rustling around on the hillside. The "boing!" of me opening my flash at one point startled him a bit, but ... yeah. Totally putting up with me.
