The detective hears a knock at the door and sets the novel aside, bookmark undoubtedly holding his place. He gets up and makes his way to the door, wondering who it could be on the other side.

Opening the door, a smile appears at seeing his visitor. However, it soon vanishes in seeing her expression. Was something wrong?

"Su-Commander? Is everything okay?"

"I.." She hesitates, "I thought that we should discuss the last event."

He nods and steps back, his hand gesturing for her to enter. "I agree."

She steps inside.

"Events can do strange things." She frowns. "I mean, I like you..."
