Having obtained her own bottles of nail polish, Nepeta was looking forward to how exactly the polish was applied, even though it seemed obvious enough. The idea of adding a bit of color to her hands sounded like fun. She bet that Kanaya would love something like this...if she were here with them.

She shyly advanced towards George, but smiled brightly upon reaching her. "So that's how you do it."

George looked up, momentarily confused. "You...don't know how?"

Well, she was an alien or something, right? Maybe they don't have nail polish where she comes from. Her nails were already yellow anyway. Or were they claws?

"Uh...yeah, this is basically it. Do you...want me to do yours?"

Rest assured, she had nails a lot like George. Just very grey in color. "Nope! But it looks easy enough! You just flick'em a bit with this little brush and-" Nepeta flung a dot of red nail polish on her nose. Trolls and fashion aren't a common combination.

George couldn't hold back the amused smile this brought out of her. "Um, not flicking so much as, uh, brushing. Like if you were painting a house or something?" Maybe she doesn't live in a house, though. These grey kids are weird.

"Oh! I think I get it. It's like updating the-" She paused, then stopped to giggle. "Nefurmind!" The second approach was much more focused and controlled. Sticking her tongue out probably didn't provide as much extra focus as she thought it did.

Wow, what a goofy...well, she looked like a kid. "How old are you, again?"

Not that she probably asked a first time.
