Mukuro could already tell that this school sucks. He'd been here two days, three if he counted the vague memory of moving all his belongings into that tiny room but it just happened to fast, and there is definitely nothing here worth his time.

He'd taken up one of the classrooms, Home Economics it looked like, as his own and since anyone had yet to stop him, for all intents and purposes he'd considered it as his new class-skipping territory. Only there's no fun in having your own territory without someone to rule over.

That had to change.

Looking to alleviate his boredom, he crossed the room and slid the door open just in time to see some other student walk down the hallway. Now while that guy didn't quite look like subject material (Mukuro would say more...'insufferable prick'), he wasn't in the mood to wait for someone else.

Friendly smile? Check.
Pleasant voice? Check.
Unaware target? Chec--skjgfj get back here, sir.

"Hey! Can you come help me with something in here really fast?"

Silly Gokudera, you'll learn that in this place, you're very wrong.

"What was that?" Mukuro isn't overly concerned about his target's potential escape, especially not when a sheet of ice rises from the ground and gets a little too friendly with the door.

An illusion of Mukuro's, of course, but its twisted beauty would make any professional ice sculptor weep always and forever.

...Uh.

Shit.

Gokudera stops short and shoots Mukuro a glare, before reaching into his pockets and producing several unlit sticks of dynamite. "I'll fucking kill you."

"Really...?" He lets the question roll off his tongue. "You should watch yourself, I think, because I've yet to start anything. You'll run out of petty threats at this rate, and that would be a most unfortunate thing."

Gokudera deals Mukuro a round of petty threats in the form of dynamite. This is something he pretty much never runs out of.

The new word of the day is petty. IE. Gokudera, you as a petty ass bastard.

Mukuro's mind says the scene goes like this: Seeing as dynamite seems like a legitimate concern, Mukuro raises a shield of ice to defend himself. However at the first explosive contact, his frozen wall shatters into nothingness and that entire section of the room is shrouded in smoke.

He doesn't stumble out of that unorganized chaos.

Gokudera waits, searching for him. You must still be in there and he hates you, so he's ready with another volley for when you reappear.

"Kufufu..." Reappearing by Gokudera's side, you mean? Yeah, it's overdone, but that part isn't of Mukuro's concern.

"You're perceptive, but not well enough to win in this fight."

Gokudera whips around to punch him in his stupid smug face.

Being adverse to being punched and all, Mukuro jumps back with a laugh.

"Was that not good?"

"What the fuck is your problem?" Gokudera gets ready to light the next round of dynamite. "What do you want?"

[youwillbe_mist]

"Kuhahah! Why ask that when I've already so nicely answered it for you? I'm a little disappointed." Mukuro's logic goes as follows - overlooking the fact this place is his controlled playground, Gokudera would probably not set off an explosive close to his own person.

He rushes forward, intending to knock the bomber back into the iced over door.

Mukuro's logic hasn't taken into account a very wonderful little toy called a mini-bomb. He ignites one of these and flicks it out between them to force Mukuro away from him with the blast.

Unfortunately, the mini-bomb kind of does Mukuro's work for him, throwing Gokudera backwards into the door.

Scratch all of the above, Mukuro is more adverse to having bombs thrown at him than he is to being punched. Go figure.

He takes a few second to recover before he crafts together his trident and readies the weapon for battle. It definitely wasn't part of the plan to show off the exact nature of his abilities, but he can't exactly lose now either.

Where did that even come from!?

Gokudera starts to initiate his box weapons to retaliate but. Um. His flames are no where NEAR strong enough to do anything ever, and this is unexpected enough to make him falter for a moment.

I keep seeing that icon as Gokudera with a fashionable sweater around his neck. Just thought you should know.

Mukuro takes the opportunity to pin Gokudera to the door, the trident's prongs just a little too close to either side of the boy's neck. It's not Mukuro's intention to kill him (seriously, what would he do with the body?) but he needs cooperation here.

"Oya...? Kufufu...did you make a mistake?"
