Brennan was on her way back to her room from the library when she noticed the first flier. After staring at it for... longer than she'd like to admit... she finally deciphered the curious troll pidgin being used and realized that it was an invitation to a party at the beach

His thoughts and typing were interrupted as he heard a knock at his door. Wesker saved the data he had just entered into the computer and minimized the window

We're at the beach, ready to party! 8Dbone_geniusApril 28 2011, 03:34:45 UTC
Doctors Brennan and Wesker arrived at the beach promptly at noon, ready to socialize.
Brennan considered for a moment, hands on hips, then selected an appropriate spot for her umbrella. After erecting her umbrella and spreading out her towel, she pulled out her beach ball and began to blow it up. Hopefully this is something that would meet the definition of 'fun'...

Feferi was on high alert for anyone who might show up. While she was not exactly used to playing hostess to social gatherings, she had been reading up on the appropriate behaviour of a hostess, particularly one of her stature. After all, Gl'bgolyb might no longer be around but Feferi still wanted to make her lusus proud.
And so as the two doctors arrived, Feferi waited for them to settle before making her way over.
After deciphering the unusual sign, Akihiko realized this had to have been posted by the enthusiastic troll girl he spoke to days ago, and his mood brightened considerable.
Today, he was glad to be out of the mansion, making his way to the beach wearing a red t-shirt, loose-fitting khaki shorts, and red flip flops, with his swimsuit underneath. He'd had a stressful time ever since his arrival, dealing with vampires and then hearing what lied in store for him in the future. A day at the beach seemed like a good way to clear his head...and get a little training in at some point.
He had a rather full backpack slung over his shoulder, and two towels under his arm. If he ran into Feferi, he'd be able to show her how they make 'sand hives'.
Feferi immediately recognised Akihiko as he approached, thanks to their previous video conversation. As soon as she spotted him she rushed over, unable or unwilling to control the glubs of excitement she emitted as she did so.
"You came! I'm so glad. I remembered my sunscreen!"
She brandished the bottle of lotion she'd managed to get from the closet. Of course, whether she'd applied it correctly was another matter; there were currently smears where it was yet to absorb properly and some patches of skin looked decidedly drier than others. But it was a start, right?
Akihiko offered a bow to Feferi, losing the balance of the weight in his backpack and taking a step to the side to regain control of it before standing back up. "Hey! You did." He smiled, noticing the few patches of unabsorbed lotion. "I guess I should put some on now before I forget. This looks as good a place as any to set up."
He set his backpack down in the sand and unrolled the long towel, appropriately covered in aquatic wildlife designs, on the ground, then began to dig in the bag for his sunscreen. Maybe she'd get the idea of how to apply it by watching him. It was full of all sorts of things: some bottled water, sunglasses, a frisbee, shovel and pail, and a bunched up piece of colorful plastic meant to be blown up into a beach ball, just to name a few.
Feferi grinned, clearly pleased with herself for remembering. She backed up a little to give Akihiko space to set up, peering curiously into the mouth of his bag to see if she could see anything in particular.
"So is it a common human tradition to claim spaces for themselves when on a beach?" At least she assumed that was what was happening - between Akihiko's setting up and her previous time watching the two doctors, she was intrigued to see if this truly was custom or mere coincidence.
Terezi will follow her nose to the fun. The sun here wasn't too bad-- nothing like the harsh rays they had to put up with on Alternia. The smells are different out here-- golden brown sugar coating the ground (her cane saves her from tripping more than once), cotton candy skies. Salt-water taffy, as far as the nose can smell. And in all that taffy, there's the slightest hint of coral.
"Got your message!" She holds up a soggy, half chewed on invitation. Her feet are in the water now, wetting the cuffs of her pants and seeping water through the holes of her shoes (because what the heck is clothing she will forever wear the same outfit, regardless of situation).
Generally keeping to himself, Wesker is never one to 'socialize' all that much. However, he did attend the gathering to get to manipulate 'know' the other residents.
More than likely he'll have a drink in hand and remain on the beach, open to conversation.
Wesker turns to see another resident he has yet to meet in person before him.
"Good afternoon." Aaaand it hits him that she is another troll. Thinking back, he remembers seeing her over the network the day he arrived. "I would introduce myself, but I believe we have already met, yes?"

Looking up and spotting Terezi waving to her, Feferi made her way to shore. "Terezi! You made it!"

She shoosh, shoosh, shooshes (that's the sound of a cane hitting sand, by the way) her way over.
"Hey."

"You've got a sharp memory, haven't you?" Insert cackle. Because that's just what she does.
"So, what's lured you out to this merriful gathering of rainbow rumpus assholes?"
