Having weathered the event with her "son", Rei is glad that things have gone back to normal.

And by normal, I mean relatively quiet and calm. She's headed up to the roof with a book and pencil when she notices the needle sphere forms. She extends her AT field to keep them from encroaching on her or into her path in the hallway and glances around. Where are these coming from?

She crumples to her knees against the wall, dazed, and puts up her AT field again. She won't let him beat her unconscious.

Hibari takes another stab at smashing her face in but finds the AT field. Meh.

He got a couple nice hits at least. He drops the chain from his tonfa and uses it to slice pieces of the walls and tear things down around them. Then heads on his way to more carnage.
