Pakistan had, apparently, been afflicted with a cold a dramatic yet vague illness for the past few days, so she had not been paying attention to the network. Thus, she did not know what had happened to Lithuania.

She answered her door in her nightgown, with her hair undone and her dubata wrapped around her shoulders, looking a bit under the weather. Surprised to see Poland, she hugged her dubata closer and belatedly wished she'd taken a moment to put on more clothes.

"Poland?"

"Pakistan." He looked away from her, less because of her state of undress and more because he wasn't looking forward to what he was going to have to say. It hurt to think of, much less actually speak of.

But he hadn't come here to chicken out. Trying not to fuss with his clothing like he did when he was nervous, he sighed. "Can I come in? We like, need to talk about something..."

She hesitated. It wasn't really proper to let a male into her room like that, especially not when he was dressed the way he was. But it was Poland, Lithuania's best friend, and even if they didn't get along that well, she knew she could trust him. Besides, she's a modern, progressive nation.

"Ah...yeah. Of course, come in." She held the door open to let him enter and closed it behind him. "I'm sorry about the mess. I've been a bit sick. What can I do for you?"

That, and... really, if people knew you let Poland into your bedroom, how many of them do you think would assume anything happened? Anyone? It's Poland.

He walked inside, barely even registering the mess in his shock and distress. "I'm like, gonna get to the point. Pakistan... Liet's dead."

My, that's certainly a dramatic background chord, isn't it?
