Vincent had a problem. No, he didn't necessarily have a problem. Or, he did, but when this day was over, he vowed he would not. In his head, the words of the little mirror of his brother kept repeating themselves over and over in a maddening whirl. His brother had asked him for a favor, a most surprising favor. A short mumble in his sleep and Oz turned to lay on his back and his head turned a bit towards the door. A peaceful look was on his features and he mumbled in his sleep, his shirt undone just enough to reveal a bit of skin and to that extent, the seal on his chest that stood out vividly against the white of his shirt and the paleness of his skin.

Though slight, after a moment, his eyes opened just a crack. He was half asleep right then so he didn't register the form who stood nearby. At least not immediately, as he turned his half-lidded, sleep ridden eyes to the figure nearby, his mind registering it in this state as someone else.

"Gil..?"

In a split second, the amused face turned into something much less pleasant. To hear that boy speaking his brother's name, no matter how innocently intended, made his blood run cold.

The gun in a safe place, hidden from sight for now. While his plans had initially been to deliver the boy's fate swiftly, he wondered if he shouldn't punish him first. After all, this boy had caused his brother suffering, intentional or not. And that was unforgivable.

He sauntered forward, a fake smile of pleasantry plastered on his face as he approached the boy's bedside and leaned in the slightest bit. Laughing, he let his mismatched eyes stare into the sleepy green ones boldly.

"Not quite, Oz-kun."

Only when the blonde moved in closer did the sleepiness start to wane, but the sight of mismatched eyes meeting his own in a bold stare was what fully did the trick. The words that were spoken made him blink a bit before a small, sleepy smile curled his lips, seeming unphased by the younger Nightray's words or even his appearance when in reality, he hadn't expected this man to show up here which already had him asking things.

At least mentally.

"Vincent~? What's with the morning visit? I wasn't expecting anyone to come see me this early.." he murmured innocently, pushing himself up so he was sitting up slightly, eyes fixed on the blonde nearby. Somehow, this just seemed a bit too unusual considering he knew very well that him and Vincent weren't really on the best of terms.

What a pleasant greeting. The blonde wouldn't have expected anything less from the bright boy. It made Vincent sick, seeing the way he put on that sweet smile as if nothing was wrong. But his expression did not falter, making him a complete hypocrite, although he never would have called himself, or considered himself such a thing. He pulled back, relaxing back and leaving a comfortable amount of space in between. If you didn't know him better, it would have seemed like an innocent visit during a bout of insomnia ( ... )
