He stopped by the entranceway of the kitchen, looking at the unfamiliar man within. "Er, hello," he brought up lowly. Clearing his throat, he added, "I'm Ron. Ron Weasley. Are you the bloke who wanted to know about magic?"

The boy looked a bit younger in person, and somehat unsure of himself. Yujinn could almost feel like a teacher again, except of course, that Ishtar was never self-conscious, even when she scored 7% on a test.
"Come sit down. I was curious about how your magic works, you mentioned a wand?"
Reply
"Uh, yeah," he murmured, moving towards the table and sitting down opposite the man who called himself Yujinn. "We say a spell - or, er, the older ones can just think a spell - and it comes out of the wand." This didn't apply to potions, of course, but Ron hardly considered potions magical; they were more like chemistry. "Are you doing some kind of experiment on magic?"
Reply
"What I'm doing is not so much an experiment; it's just that many people here use different types of magic, there are some where the rules contradict the rules stated for another form of magic. I want to see if I can find a common denominator for all the magic here, it may be a way of determining how the magic in this house works, which honestly seems rather chaotic."
"For example, in my world, I studied holy magic. People have different potentials, but anyone can learn it; although typically only the royal family does, or those with a connection to it. It requires a lot of study, and a good deal of chanting to cast spells, but a focus is not necessary." He paused after the explanation, not wanting to overwhelm the boy.
"So, is your magic innate, or trained?"
