Not that it wasn't tempting to stay away. After getting up close and personal with the mirror version of Misao last time, Kurogane wasn't exactly thrilled to be meeting what could be the same version of Fai. But having not seen the Fai he was talking to, or the brother he was talking to, he had no reason to believe one over the other. And this way would be the best still, in the end.

All of that doubt pretty much flew out the door when he entered their room though. Quietly, the he opened the door and, unfortunately for this version of the blond, the first thing he noticed was the misplaced eye patch. Kurogane's face was carefully neutral though (he was a ninja after all, of course he could keep a calculated expression) as he shut the door behind him.

"You said you didn't meet any of them, right?" he asked, and whether this version said yes or no, he looked the blond up and down as he made his way across the room, like he would have to his version to see if there were any telltale injuries he didn't tell him of. "So, you're fine?"

" That's right," his face lighting up with a smile when Kurogane entered the room. " I haven't met a single switched mirror yet."

That smile though, it was not one typical of Fai. His reflection wasn't as good with those disgusting plastic smiles he always wore, so it was more genuine, genuine but twisted with his dark desires. He was having far too much fun. Surely the ninja had noticed his flipped appearance by now, and that was where the fun truly began.

" So I'm fine," The reflection said with a grin. " Infact, you really could say I've never been better, Kuro-chan."

There was no originality to the nicknames. Kuro-chan, Kuro-chan, the reflection honestly couldn't be bothered to come up with any others. Nicknames were infuriating, but he would have been spotted immediately without them. Now it was more taunting though, as they both knew he was not the Fai Kurogane had been expecting.

"You can't be fine," Kurogane replied, frowning. He had stopped a few feet away from this Fai, arms crossed - his body language practically screaming defence. "You can't be fine, if there's something you want."

He was really, really glad he had made sure to bring his sword with him everywhere again. At least he had something to use against this version of Fai, because he was pretty damn sure he wasn't going to give him any of the things he wanted.

" Kuro-chan knows me so well," the double said, slowly moving towards him. They were far too far apart. " Always knows when I need something. You're so good to me, you know.

The double was moving close, too close, and he was smiling just a little too must, too delighted to have everything he wanted in that moment in an arm's reach.

" There's no sense hiding it then," he said, looking into Kurogane's eyes, far more eye contact than the real thing usually deemed comfortable. " I'm hungry, Kuro-chan"

He looked hungry as well, though perhaps for more than simply Kurogane's blood.

"I don't know you that well, and I don't plan correcting that any time soon." Kurogane barked at the mirror. "Keep your distance - I don't want you anywhere near me, and I want to get Fai back now." The ninja refused to take any steps back, or give up any ground to the look-a-like, especially in the confines of that room.

"I mean it. Stay back." Or else, but it didn't really need to be said when he had his hand on the hilt of the sword at his side in plain view.
