He stumbled through the doorway, nearly spilling all of the posters before finally managing to set them down. If this didn't do the trick, nothing would. Beast Boy also neglected to say just how he got that picture of Axel, but if anyone gave him any crap about his borderline crazy hero-worship of the red haired man, he could easily point them in the direction of Robin's giant wall of Slade pictures. Talk about obsession.
Turning to his brother, he smiled as wide as he could. Quite frankly, Roxas' smile at the moment reminded Beast Boy of a basset hound trying to smile: a valiant effort, but in the end it just made him look even more depressed. It was the 'doesn't come home' part of Roxas' sentence that made his smile grow softer and sadder. The keybearer didn't deserve any of this. No matter what he did in the past, he didn't deserve to be alone. Gar moved closer, wrapping an arm around the other boy's shoulders.
"Hey, don't say that. 'Course he'll come home." His eyes drifted downwards and his other hand lightly poked the place right over Roxas' heart. "See? He already is!"
After a moment, he sighed, doing his best to meet his brothers' eyes again. "Even if... even if the worst happens, there's always hope he'll be back soon. You guys'll meet again some day. Just a matter of when, right? I mean, time travel, alternate dimensions, gods, demons, aliens... dude, with this kind of stuff in our daily lives, nothing's ever impossible."
