He doesn't do anything remotely loud or abrasive; Harry is just calmly returning to his room, almost deadly in his silence.

He's had his share of comfort. Lisa's always good to him. Hell, he's a lucky man, luckier than he thinks he deserves, of course, but regardless. She's helped. But there is this to deal with.

Rarely, does Harry ever get angry.

Harry is angry.

He glances at his armchair, then turns to see the bottle by the nightstand. The obvious, and the most familiar sight he knows, really.

But it's not his.

"James," Harry calls out, tone flat.

James doesn't want to see him.

He doesn't want to see anyone. He should have just occupied an unused room. In fact, it's probably what he'll do later. He rubs a hand over the raw bruise on his neck, wincing.

He turns around. He knows what to expect. Reprimands. More anger. More discontent. By now he should be used to it, and James can expect more with time. This place isn't fun anymore. It stopped being fun when Harry was impaled and that monster nearly took half his damned face.

He just stands, lowering his head slightly.

It's not often he's this angry. Not often that he's angry enough to do this, to march over, clench his fist, and give James a furious look with his RED eyes.

And he does it. With some regret, but he does it.

Harry punches him across the face.

"You idiot!" Harry snaps at him. "I don't mind looking after you -- but don't lie to me! And don't you dare be that selfish again! Killing yourself like that! I don't want to have to carry your dead body a third time, James. Do you understand?!"

It's somewhat of a surprise. James expected to get yelled at, yes, but he never expected the fist to smash into his face, sending him tumbling to the floor.

He lands with a grunt. Bloody nose, a split lip. Harry has a sort of hidden strength that James really didn't expect from him at all, then again, there's a part of him that isn't surprised.

The harsh scolding does make him wince a little.

Damn.

Now he really is all alone. He's managed to alienate the last person- well. The only person really. Sure, there are people he talks to once in every little while. The green kid, Heather, Lisa, and even that Max guy. But by far, he's spent the most time with Harry. He's still not sure why they share a room. To be frank, he's getting really annoyed with this whole 'you were here before' thing
