Oh yes, 2 weeks until I leave, I am beyond excited ,cannot contain it haha !

I did get your tips, was going to reply to it but my internet went out and then I forgot.

It's very nice to hear what people you know mention as "attractions" because the guides and internet and history/geography/culture general knowledge may not be very accurate . I'm looking forward to seeing some of the John Paul II related stuff ,I hear there's also a little museum, and the Holocaust/WWII related stuff + architecture and the feel of the place in general.

Oh yeah, do they have nice parks and stuff? I read there's a sort of green belt surrounding the old city ,made in place of the fortifications .

How's the safety? I'm not too worried about it but can't hurt to ask if there's some area that is touristy but that you should avoid at night.

Try the Jordan Park - I wasn´t there but I heard lot of good stuff about it.

Krakow at night? I never spend the night there but Krakow is really a safe city, as safe as other bigger European cities. I never had any problems there but I wouldn´t walk through small passages at night but since it´s a student city, Krakow is never really sleeping.

So far so good, I never really had any problems with safety during a trip but it never hurts to ask and be informed. I am not planning on staying outside until very late anyway since I'm going alone
