Ok, I'm back, surely no1curr but whatever, my trip was over on Monday evening which was pretty sad but at least there's only one month and a half to go until I'll visit south/center of Germany and a bit of Poland, can't wait for that !

Great pics! Berlin is a beautiful city. I'm glad you had a good time and got to see places from your new favourite hobby, WWII :)

Thanks ! I'm glad you liked them , took me a while to make this post haha ! Berlin was wonderful indeed , I had only been to Munich in Germany before this and it certainly made me more excited about going around Germany again this summer.

Well, WWII is an old hobby of mine but I was always afraid of addressing it because no one seems to care and/or people sometimes can't understand why someone would be interested in a historical period like the WWII/ Nazi Germany period and historical figures of that time unless you're a supporter of them or something which is kind of sad . But I've been told (including by my therapist) that I should talk about it cause it's interesting and it's what I care about so it's important.

Never been to Berlin either, but yes it looks great. Will be on my places to visit list :)

It is a difficult topic, yes, but I know you like it not because of all the terrible things they've done. It's a part of history, an interesting part, I agree, so you should talk about it and share it if you want!

Berlin was not really high up on my list because many historical points of interest for me have been destroyed either by the war or by the ommunists/demilitarization/denazification but i was delighted by the coty itself and i like the germanic countries and people.

Yes i am not a fan of what they did or their ideology but it is an interesting period with interesting characters some bad and some good. I am now talking about it but sadly people dont seem to read or reply to post related to that so i mostly keep it on tumblr

it's a great city ! obviously not as dramatically impressive as cities like Paris or London but it's a very nice place to visit, modern ,german ,organized, I loved it!

haha well I drank beer every evening and at noon so that was probably it. In fact I don't think I gained weight ,I'm probably just a little bloated from all that beer cause I really did walk a lot and didn't eat much

I love posting pictures from my trips so I'm glad when someone enjoys them !

Checkpoint Charlie is no longer in use, it was the border checkpoint between East and West Berlin before the fall of the Berlin wall
