The administration and congress have their own benefits package which guarantees some of them full salary upon retirement and has survivor benefits. There are differentiations as in any other plan, but basically we are paying their benefits and our own. When they want to discuss privatizing congressional benefits, then we might want to look at this suggestion. Regardless of how this web site explains it...they are getting far more than the average citizen.
