[Were anyone to step out of their lovely pods this fine evening, they'd find an Alice twirling merrily in the moonlight, capybara nestled tightly in her arms (and he's looking a tad annoyed but that's really neither here nor there). She's a little restless, and this is a great way to take care of that ( Read more... )

[And play he does, for both Alice and any potential audience that might pass by. Don't mind the man behind the panpipes, ladies and gentlemen, he's merely here to entertain, and will likely not pause in the playing of his music unless directly addressed.]

[You are one of Alice's new favorite people here in this lovely, upside down and extraordinarily odd world, Louis! She dances with cheerful abandon, until the very last notes fade, or until the sun comes up. Whatever happens first.]

[Lucas had heard the music and gone to investigate. He stands back watching her dance for a bit and covers his laugh with the back of his hand as he eyes the capybara.]

Yer capysomethin' don't look none too happy 'bout this.

[Alice does an elaborate little twirl before she pauses to look over her shoulder at the speaker. Now, she knows Tullywobble isn't particularly pleased about this whole charade, though he does seem to at least be behaving himself.]

Tullywobble, if you please - and really, you ought to try joining, I find dancing in the moonlight to be terribly therapeutic even if it seems a tad odd to some thought to be frank, I find being odd rather invigorating.

Tullywo-Ah!

[He remembers talking to Alice now!]

So that's Tullywobble.

[Lucas looks around for his capybara and grins as he lifts him. Red flies off from Lucas' shoulder and perches on an artichoke. No, he will not be involved in this.]

Named mine Maxim. Now what kinda dance y'doin'?

Yes, yes! This is him. [Alice stops and blinks, setting poor Tully down. He waddles somewhere not far to the left.]

Ah, just something I made up, a bit of this and a bit of that and most certainly nothing related to Quadrille.

[Kevas doesn't pester, instead he stands back and watches with a smile.

This isn't a scene he expected to find on the way back to his pod but it's certainly not unwelcome. Not wanting to intrude, Kevas hangs back and just watches. However his capybara doesn't share the same sentiment and trots forward to introduce itself.]

[Alice twirls happily then pauses at the newest visitor, and she drops to her knees and sets Tullywobble down, resting her elbows right there into the grass, unconcerned with any stains or dirt.]

I say, aren't you just as unique as dear Tully here - what might your name be, I wonder?

[The capybara snorts and sniffs Alice before turning its head back towards Kevas and grunts.

Kevas rolls his eyes and approaches. Yeah yeah he gets it.]

Dat be a good question. Ain't got 'round to findin' out yet.

Ah--!

[Alice beams, then straightens, brushing her skirts off.]

Kevas--![Imagine that, seeing him in so short a time span!]

But I thought you'd named him Fuzzlebutt?
