Skin cancer?! Is this a mild thing? One can't help but squeak when one hears the c-word.

Also, when I read "Playa of The Year", I thought you were referring to a Spanish beach. Was he warm and blue and littered with topless British fat ladies?

Eeek! Sorry to have scared you! I should have clarified about the type of skin cancer- -it's not melanoma (the worst, chemo-requiring kind), but basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to, uh, winning the genetic lottery, I have this syndrome commonly known as "Gorlin's Syndrome," (thanks, dad and grandpa!) and one of its key features is the aggressive occurrence of basal cells. So if you want to know anything about experimental skin cancer creams and surgeries, or my favourite sunblocks, I'm your girl. Even though I would still have these basal cells if I led a mole-like existence, I've found that wearing sunscreen religiously and generally not hopping into tanning beds, worshipping the sun, and the like help a lot.
