Commander Spock made his way to the transporter room to ready himself and the away team for their mission to the planet of Bacchus II. Starfleet had ordered the Enterprise down to this planet to study the annual mating cycles in connection with a plant whose pollen is believed to be responsible. "Hey!" Sky yelped as the fight broke out once more, "Stoppit! STOPPIT!" For a tiny little thing, she could be exceptionally verbal when she wanted to be. The purple people looked at her after shoving Spock into the truck, one of them wrenching the hypospray out of the Vulcan's hand ( ... )

Lying where she was, Sky coughed softly. "I have Spock's hypospray..." she said softly, holding out her hand that contained the afore mentioned medical tool. "It still has a vial of Melanex left in it." Her head was feeling quite fuzzy, but she did feel better lying here on the floor. "Leo..." with her ear pressed to the floor she could hear the gears change, "I think we are getting close to wherever they are taking us, if you are going to do something with the 'spray, better do it now before our 'friends' get back here and take it away."

"Damn straight I am." To hell with rank right now. He was gonna give his comrades as much of a fighting chance as possible against those fuckers.

He dove back over to Sky, helped a bit by another hard turn, to the left this time. Now that he knew which hypo was which, McCoy was all business. His fingers few over the buttons with no need for light. She would need a small dose, so as not to overtax her system and send her headlong into a nap for sure. Contrary to what everyone thought, Leonard could be gentle when administering medicine. He caressed her neck briefly before injecting, then darted back over to Spock with the hypo. Since the man was still experiencing some pain, he obviously needed a higher dose.

Unless there was something else the Vulcan was keeping to himself ( ... )

Spock was lunched forward by the sudden stop making him end up on the floor between both McCoy and Sky. “My apologizes Doctor, Lieutenant. I was not anticipating the sudden stop.” The Vulcan gathered himself and sat back up against the wall. This was not turning out to be quite the mission he had been looking forward to ( ... )
